Boracay Trip
How to get to
Boracay Island
Choose
your gateway to Boracay
Kalibo or Caticlan
Kalibo is farther, requiring around 2 hours of travel time to
caticlan jetty airport then 15 minutes by ferry/boat to Boracay, but fares are much
cheaper than caticlan.
From Caticlan, requiring around 15 mins of travel time to boarcay . But fares are way more expensive.
From Kalibo Airport you need to ride a bus/van and a ferry/boat
going to boracay island. I advise you to book your round trip transfer at
Southwest tours for a hassle free transfer.
Southwest Tours - "an
agency providing pickup and drop-off service between both airport and the
Boracay resort of your choice. Southwest Tours offers cushy
air-conditioned land transport and a guaranteed reserved seat
on the day of your flight. Many Boracay resorts outsource their airport pickup
services to Southwest."
*If you will avail their round trip transfer, Southwest
tours will pick you up 5 hours before your flight so better book your flight
back to manila at the evening so you could still enjoy your last day at the
island.
WHERE TO STAY IN BORACAY
Booked our hotel at My Boracay Guide. Guaranteed Lowest
Prices on boracay hotels.
We stayed at Jay jays Club for 3 days &
2 nights. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The facilities
are perfect (Jacuzzi, billiards, swimming pool & roof deck) for a vacation.
A place you can truly relax & definitely enjoy the view. The room is clean,
with fridge, safe box, TV and aircon. The standard room we stayed in was
excellent. Clean, spacious with a massive bed and a large bathroom. The
bathroom is okay, with functional heater which is important for
everyone. The room was cleaned daily and the bed was changed regularly.
It is located in station 1 and the price is
cheaper than other station 1 hotels nearby. It is located behind the church,
which is also near a 24/7 convenience store and 2 mins walk to the beach.
It is also close to Jonah's Fruit shake.
Overall it's a great
experience :)
WHERE TO EAT IN BORACAY
Beach front restaurants are very costly. White Beach sound good, but they taste disappointing.
The must try!!

Fruit Shake
Lemon I café
